Listen, I'm not trying to sound super high maintenance or whatever, but my accommodations aren't doing it for me. And I really want to be in my permanent home for Christmas. My foster family is great and all, I actually love them, but I need to bust out of here soon. I have no space for my ever-growing costumes, the house is crowded, and I can't even begin to tell you how bad these people snore!! Ha! Just kidding 😁..... or am I 😉. So anyway hmmm 🤔.... my ideal home would be Me... ONLY Muwah... I just can't handle the stress of sybs, always in my personal space.....blech! I don't mind walking on leash with them but that's it. I would love a big fenced in yard or at least a few strolls a day, gotta stretch them legs or they get stiff. I'm pretty good at sleeping in my crate when your gone, I'm a nice guy really, I just get bored and MAY get into trouble 😁. My foster momma taught me some good old fashion manners! Not to toot my own horn but I am pretty polite, can play a mean fetch and am the best darn couch buddy you'll ever meet!!
And don't worry about me getting any of those yucky diseases because these ladies got me all fixed up with vaccines and hw prevention, of course I will need those regularly.
Now if you're seriously looking for a roommate I would love to come over and check out your setup. I mean as long there's no yucky syblings.. blech. Just follow this link and fill out my application, because I gotta weed out the "weirdos" 🙊.

Reagan may not be able to talk, but her scars tell a story that none of us can ever imagine. In her short life, she has been through a lot. With lots of TLC and love, she is now ready for adoption. Reagan is a young, petite lab mix looking for her forever home. Despite her past, she is still sweet and loving as can be. She loves her people, and once she warms up to you, she wants to be near you all the time!! (Especially when you have food under the table) She’s a cuddle bug and would make a great movie date for those singles out there 😉. Reagan is crate trained, however she will sing you the song of her ancestors if you leave her in it too long. She is potty trained, too! A fenced-in yard and another playful k9 companion is required so that she can continue learning what being a spoiled little princess is like. We have learned that kids make Reagan uneasy so she will need a kid free home. If you think Reagan may fit your lifestyle, please apply at https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-app

Abby is blind and therefore requires an above ground fence. She does not do well walking on a leash currently. She prefers to not be crated.
She’s fine with children that respect her size, other dogs, and we don’t see any reason why she wouldn’t be fine with cats also.
Abby is best buds with Johnny Riggins. Her favorite place is cuddling on a dog bed with Johnny.
Johnny Riggins is a 15 year old 24# Doodle. He is looking for somebody to share his Golden Years with. He is basically blind from cataracts but can see light and dark, and shadows close up. He is a bit hard of hearing, which is not uncommon (if human, he’s approx. 78 years young). He struggles with some arthritis for which he takes a vet prescribed chew daily to help with joint pain and discomfort.
For all of the above reasons , it is best if he would be in a home with only a few or no stairs. He also requires a fence so he can easily learn his outdoor boundaries. He does best eating a combination of soft and hard food. He has had a complete dental and is feeling more comfortable eating out of a bowl with no more gum or toothaches. Johnny still prefers eating alone with no person or pet watching him.
He is potty trained, has absolutely no need for a crate, does well with other dogs, and would assume he is fine with cats also. He loves older children or anyone who will cuddle. He loves being a lap-dog, however he is unable to jump up and will need some help getting on the couch with you. He loves being outside as long as he has a human nearby – he will cry loudly if he believes he is alone. He requires regular grooming, including between his paw pads. His fur is just now returning following a complete shave due to his previous grooming neglect.
Johnny will simply sweep you off your feet!
These two have definitely bonded and would prefer to be together. Please consider adopting both!
If you are interested in adopting Abby Rose and/or Johnny Riggins please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.

She is an Aussie mix from what we were told and is a young adult around a year and a half, 40 lbs., and mother to our Spring pups.
She is spayed, utd on vaccines, microchipped and on prevention.
Maia is a shy girl at first and when she warms up she is a little sweetie. She places her paw out for attention which is the sweetest thing. She is potty trained, kennel trained,is great with other dogs, chases cats sometimes 🤨, and has been fine around everyone but has not been around kids in her foster home. Guessing she would be fine with older respectable kids. If your looking for a little girl to be a best friend, Maia is your girl.
If interested in Maia please fill out an application on our website. Please fill out completely and honestly and if you have more than one vet PLEASE list them all.

I am deaf, and learning hand signals. I am potty trained and crate trained, but I'm not a huge fan of my crate. I get along with other dogs, cats and kids. I love to run around and go for a walk on my leash. I have a mouth full of pearly white teeth after my recent dental. I am a huge snuggle buddy. I’m always ready to sit with you and watch a movie, or go for walks. I really don’t act my age.
I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on Heartworm prevention, and microchipped. If you’re looking for a companion, look no further cause I’m your man.

I am extremely hard of hearing, but am learning hand signals. I love to be cuddled, once I get used to you. I recently had a dental where I lost 3 teeth, so now I have a mouth of pearly whites, and can eat hard food just fine. I would do better in a house with calm dogs and people. A lot of ruckus makes me nervous, so I would like a quieter home. I'm not a huge fan of smaller kids, so maybe some older kids would be ok with me. I also do well with cats.
I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on Heartworm prevention, and microchipped. If you want a snuggle buddy and a couch potato, I'm your gal.

My name is BERTHA!
I'm a 7 year old French Bulldog, but my foster mommy calls me her little hippopotamus because I walk and trot like a hippo.
I get along great with other dogs. I get along great with kids. I haven't been cat tested but I'm sure I would try to be their friend.
I tolerate a crate and keep it dry, but I'd much rather be out laying on a bed or with you, because I'm a huge snuggle bug! I LOVE PEOPLE!
I am currently working on potty training and that's going pretty good.
I have started my vaccinations, am microchipped, heartworm tested negative and started on prevention. I am getting spayed and a dental soon, but can come into your home now through PAWS' foster to adopt program! That means you can start loving me and spoiling me now, and my adoption will be finalized after my spay and dental!
If you would like your own mini hippo, please submit your application at www.pawsofadamscounty.com.
Please answer all questions completely and honestly!
Thank you very much...or should I say "Merci Beaucoup"!

Ava has been vaccinated to protect her from various diseases. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Ava is known for her loving nature and positive attitude. She is a delightful companion who enjoys spending time with her human family. However, it's important to note that she can display food possession at times ONLY with other dogs. Correcting her or feeding her separately works perfectly.
She also can get bossy with other dogs but is also quick to get along once calmed and given a little time. She has been around some kids, but not under 10.

🌸🐝Bee is crate trained and working on potty training. At first, she is a little timid in new situations, but warms up quickly. If you don’t like puppy kisses👅, then lovable Bee is not for you. She would make a great companion!
🌸🐝Bee has been microchipped, vaccinated, on heart worm prevention, and is scheduled to be spayed in Oct. She is available now to Foster to Adopt. Her adoption will be finalized when her vetting is completed. Don’t overlook this sweet girl!

🌾Meet one of our newest intakes! Bud is a 4 year old rat terrier that weighs just over 10 pounds.
🌾This is Bud’s first experience in a home as he was previously living on a tie out. He is doing extremely well at crate training and potty training. He is just fine with other dogs and cats. Bud has been around kids in his previous living situation but we are unsure how much they interacted with him.
🌾Bud is a happy little guy that really wants attention but gets nervous and pancakes when you go to pick him up. He is hesitant going through doorways but that should improve over time.
🌾Bud is microchipped and has received his first distemper/lepto/parvo vaccine. He will need a booster in a couple weeks. Bud is scheduled to be neutered, receive a rabies vaccine, be heartworm test and have a dental done on 8/31. If heartworm negative, he will be started on heartworm prevention.
Bud is ready for his foster to adopt home now! Adoption will be finalized when all vetting is completed.

🐎Odin is a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. He is super fast and loves racing around the yard. He needs a fenced in yard due to this and his recall is not the greatest (yet). He will also push past and out of doors from time to time.
🐎Odin is great with other dogs but would be best with older kids that are not at risk of being knocked over. He is potty trained and crate trained.
🐎Odin is fixed, microchipped, up to date on rabies and DHLPP vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention.

Tawny, Copper, Brandy, and Tanner.
They have been started on vaccines, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. These babies are in our out kennel for now. Hoping to get them in soon.
They were born July 10th and from what we were told they are Elkhound mix, no info on dad but they resemble Red Coonhound. They will probably be medium to large dogs.
They are a little shy, but warm up very quickly 😃.
These sweeties are available for foster to adopt until their vetting is completed, 3 more vaccines and spay/neuter.

💎Miss Gracie is an approximately 6 years old black lab mix. She found herself in rescue due to her previous owner practically being homeless and needed to go to the hospital. Gracie was left in the care of a friend temporarily but was surrendered to rescue when it was determined that her owner was likely not going to ever leave the hospital.
💎Gracie is currently being treated for a bacterial infection in both ears and a few spots on her skin where yeast infections are present. She has already been treated for fleas and tapeworms.
💎This sweet girl loves people and treats! She’s a little chunky currently and has been started on a diet. She is crate trained and potty trained.
💎While Gracie does get along with other dogs and cats, she prefers those that are laid back and she prefers to have her own eating space - like her crate.
💎Though she is getting older and a little gray in the face this girl is still quite spunky when it’s play time!
💎Gracie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on DHLPP and rabies, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. She is available for foster to adopt as she is still being treated for her ear and skin infections and will need a DHLPP booster on 10/15.
If you are interested in fostering to adopt Gracie please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.
