Look at him… isn’t he adorable?! His ears go all kinds of ways: up, down, one up, one down (depending on how silly he feels 😆). Franklin is an approximately 10 years young terrier mix. Don’t let his age fool ya, Even though he’s getting up there in age, he’s got a ton of spunk left in him. Whether it’s going on a short walk, cooking, or doing chores around the house he’s ready to get in the way and help. Although most days, he’d rather prefer to cuddle on the couch. His favorite thing to do is just cuddle in the blankets with you on a cold day. In the mornings, you’d even find him wrapped in your (his) blanket all comfortable! Franklin is working on potty training and will go in his crate when needed but prefers to free roam the house. He does well with dogs who are respectful of his space. Franklin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heart worm prevention. He just had a recent dental to get his yucky teefers pulled out and is now feeling much better! If you’re interested in this little spunky guy, apply at https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-app

Adorable, fun, loving, Intelligent K9 looking for hire into a forever home!!
Hi future boss! My name is Chester! What am I you ask? Well obviously a K9, but my mom says I can turn into all kinds of creatures. I can be a land shark 🦈 one day and a velociraptor 🦖 the next day! Or both in one day!! Im a 8 month old Red heeler a.k.a Australian cattle dog. Foster Mommy also calls me a redneck malinois… whatever that means.
Im super intelligent! Id say my IQ level is higher than Mr. Albert Einstein! I’m looking for a home where I have a job to do. I can be your hiking partner or a supervisor for your farm animals!
I’m learning to do my business outside however I’m still young, so I would need someone patient to teach me. If there are coworkers 🐶, I certainly get along with them as long as they are fun like me and don’t mind a nosy coworker. 😁
What’s my expected salary you ask? Well… given my superb personality and work ethic. I’m not cheap. I require Lots and lots of treats and lovins after my shift. Maybe even a toy or two daily! 😉
To hire me visit https://www.pawsofadamscounty.com/adoption-foster-app.
I am updated on all my vettings and the ladies here at the hiring agency require my future coworkers to be updated as well including heartworm prevention.

Marlow was previously adopted as Ginny from the Harry Potter puppies but was recently returned due to her natural instinct to herd and protect.
Marlow is 8.5 months old. Since a couple of her siblings have been DNA tested; we now know she is mostly Australian Cattle Dog. Marlow is potty trained but not quite crate trained. She loves other dogs and will be cat tested soon! Due to her experience in her previous home we think she would do best in a home with older children. She is very smart and wants to be with her people 24/7. She can be quite the cuddle bug.
Marlow is spayed, microchipped, on heartworm prevention and is up to date on rabies and DHLPP. She will need to be heartworm tested when she is 1 year old.
She is ready for her adoptive home now! If you are interested in adopting Marlow please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.
When applying, please answer each question completely and honestly. Only complete applications will be considered.

Well, look no further!
Meet Johnny Riggins! He’s a 15 year old 24# Doodle. He is looking for somebody to share his Golden Years with. He is basically blind from cataracts but can see light and dark, and shadows close up. He is a bit hard of hearing, which is not uncommon (if human, he’s approx. 78 years young). He struggles with some arthritis for which he takes a vet prescribed chew daily to help with joint pain and discomfort.
For all of the above reasons , it is best if he would be in a home with only a few or no stairs. He also requires a fence so he can easily learn his outdoor boundaries. He does best eating a combination of soft and hard food. He has had a complete dental and is feeling more comfortable eating out of a bowl with no more gum or toothaches. Johnny still prefers eating alone with no person or pet watching him.
He is potty trained, has absolutely no need for a crate, does well with other dogs, and would assume cats also. He loves older children or anyone who will cuddle. He loves being a lap-dog, however he is unable to jump up and will need some help sitting on the furniture with you. He loves being outside as long as he has a human nearby – he will cry loudly if he believes he is alone. He requires regular grooming, including between his paw pads. His fur is just now returning following a complete shave due to his previous grooming neglect.
Johnny will simply sweep you off your feet!
If interested in Johnny Riggens please fill out an application on our website. Please fill out app in full with honest answers and add all vets used.

Listen, I'm not trying to sound super high maintenance or whatever, but my accommodations aren't doing it for me. And I really want to be in my permanent home for Christmas. My foster family is great and all, I actually love them, but I need to bust out of here soon. I have no space for my ever-growing costumes, the house is crowded, and I can't even begin to tell you how bad these people snore!! Ha! Just kidding 😁..... or am I 😉. So anyway hmmm 🤔.... my ideal home would be Me... ONLY Muwah... I just can't handle the stress of sybs, always in my personal space.....blech! I don't mind walking on leash with them but that's it. I would love a big fenced in yard or at least a few strolls a day, gotta stretch them legs or they get stiff. I'm pretty good at sleeping in my crate when your gone, I'm a nice guy really, I just get bored and MAY get into trouble 😁. My foster momma taught me some good old fashion manners! Not to toot my own horn but I am pretty polite, can play a mean fetch and am the best darn couch buddy you'll ever meet!!
And don't worry about me getting any of those yucky diseases because these ladies got me all fixed up with vaccines and hw prevention, of course I will need those regularly.
Now if you're seriously looking for a roommate I would love to come over and check out your setup. I mean as long there's no yucky syblings.. blech. Just follow this link and fill out my application, because I gotta weed out the "weirdos" 🙊.

Look at this handsome dude! Buddy is an approximately 6 month old terrier mix. He enjoys running and playing with her other foster brothers and sister as most puppies do. When he isn’t running around playing with the boys, you can find him snuggled up next to one of them or his favorite human. This guy is definitely down for some snuggles. Buddy is still working on potty training and will go in his crate/kennel when needed. He knows “sit” , “off” and working on “down” commands. He is scheduled to be neutered on 1/12 and is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on heart worm prevention. Lucy’s brother Ricky found his forever home, while Lucy was recovering. Now Lucy wants hers.
Lucy is a 6 month old Border Collie mix puppy. She has done very well with crate and potty training. She gets along well with people, dogs, cats, and likes to cuddle. She is currently medium sized, but she is still a puppy.
Lucy will need to be walked with a harness instead of a collar due to the recent trauma to her trachea. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
If you are interested in adopting Lucy please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.

I'm estimated to be 2 to 3 years old and I am a Jack Russell mix. I get along well with other dogs and love kids. I can be playful, a couch potato and your walking buddy - all rolled into one little dog! I am crate trained and working on potty trained.
I am getting fixed on Monday - foster mom says that will help my potty training - wish me luck! That means I will be fixed, microchipped, heartworm tested, started on heartworm prevention (if I’m negative 🤞🏼), and up to date on rabies and DHLPP and officially ready to find my new forever home.
I will need to have a physical fence in my new home, so that I can safely play without wanting to explore the neighborhood!

Lyla is estimated to be around 5 years old. We are guessing she is some sort of a beagle/coonhound mix. She is working on all house manners as this is likely the first time she has ever been inside a house. We are specifically working on potty training, crate training and no countertop surfing. She will need someone willing to continue training once adopted. She is very smart! She is good with other dogs but needs a home with no cats. She has not been around kids in her foster home but we see no indication that she wouldn’t be just fine with kids. Lyla will need a secure physical fence due to her love for exploring - typical beagle. She would love another dog to show her the ropes! She loves adventure but is not a cuddle bug.
Lyla is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention and is up to date on rabies and DHLPP.
She is ready for her adoptive home now! If you are interested in adopting Lyla please visit our website at www.pawsofadamscounty.com and submit an adoption application.

Loki is likely a lab mix that just turned 1 year old. He is potty trained and crate trained. He does do a little nervous tinkle when meeting new people but is improving as he learns that people are not going to hurt him. Loki is great with other dogs who LOVE to play and will be cat tested soon. He has not been around kids in his foster home but we see no indication that he wouldn’t be just fine with kids. Loki does show off his pretty white smile when he’s excited and getting attention. 😁
Loki is neutered, microchipped, on heartworm prevention and is up to date on rabies and DHLPP.

It does appear that these puppies may have some hearing and/or sight deficits which is common when dogs are bred to try and produce a certain coat color.
These puppies are all so sweet and all love being held. They more than ready to find their own nice, warm, loving homes! All have received the first round of vaccines, are microchipped and have been started on heartworm prevention. We are now accepting applications for foster to adopt. Adoptions will not be finalized until their vetting is complete.

***These puppies are an example of unethical, irresponsible breeding. Breeding two merle colored dogs to get merle colored puppies can result in “double merle” puppies. These puppies have excessive white coloration, due to lack of pigment, and which results in hearing, vision, or any combination of the two impairments. They can be difficult to train, and even have shortened lifespans.
Proper socialization and training is necessary for these dogs.
They are referred to as “lethal whites” because they are usually euthanized by the breeder, due to their defects.
These special puppies need special homes.
